Party Planning Tips - Keep calm and let us take care of it for you!

Booking:
Try and book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. Magicians are in
very short supply in this area, and short notice bookings may not always be available. Magic Max will try and accommodate your needs where possible, but try not to leave things to the last minute.

General Hints & Tips:
1. Where? There is no better place to hold a child's birthday party than the family home,
children are usually better behaved in the home environment and easier to control. However, if
you don't have the space, or don't fancy the big spring clean before hand, hiring a hall is a
sensible option. Don't forget to make a check-list of everything you will need to take with you for
the party (don't forget the music, candles or matches for the cake).

2. Where's that?! Finding the party venue can sometimes be a bit of a headache.  A bunch of
balloons tied to your gatepost will prove of help to both your guests and the magician.

3. During the show: The Magic Max Show can be enjoyed on different levels by
everybody.  It's not just for the kids, and you are welcomed, and encouraged to come and sit with the children and enjoy the show. If the adults do not want to do so, it is best to lead them into another room, not to stand and chat at the back of the room, which can be very distracting for the children, and the magician.

4. Make sure a responsible adult is on hand at all times - Magic Max will certainly make things easier for you on the day, but remember he is there to entertain your children, not to look after them.  Make sure that a responsible adult is present at all times, for example, in case any of
the children need to go to the bathroom during the performance.

If you have never held a party before and would like any help with finding a venue or any further tips or advice, don't be shy - we're always happy to help.
